In addressing the scholarship awardees, Winsome Gibbs, Branch Manager CG United Jamaica, shared the experience of previous awardee Antonique Arias whose excellent performance earned her an internship and now she is in the company’s Graduate Programme where she is benefiting from coaching opportunities and being equipped with the necessary tools for a successful and fulfilling career. “This is why I encourage you, our current awardees, to always give of your best and strive for excellence as you can never tell where it will lead you.” stated Ms. Gibbs.

Dr. Tamika Benjamin Assistant Chief Education Officer of the Minuistry of Education was happy to be a part of this celebration of Jamaica’s best asset of education.  She  thanked the sponsors and the UWI for helping to create a better society by preparing our young people to contribute to our national growth and development.
